Our Story

Good News in Dayton began when Grunder Landscaping Co. Founder & CEO and lifelong Daytonian Marty Grunder was frustrated by the negativity our city was receiving from the traditional media outlets during the Great Recession.

Determined to be part of the solution and highlight the great things happening in Dayton, Ohio, he partnered with other local entrepreneurs to start sharing stories of perserverence, kindness, and success in 2008.
